Terms of Service

Terms for accounts, workspaces, contract processing, AI-assisted output, subscriptions, and data deletion.

1. Service

ContractVault provides PDF upload, OCR, AI context correction, structured contract fields, search, schedules, governance review, source storage, corrections, and audit history.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate information and protect account credentials. Workspace owners and administrators control members, permissions, deletion requests, settings, and billing for their organization.

3. Your contract data

You retain rights in documents and data you upload. You may upload only documents you are authorized to store and process, including any personal or confidential information they contain.

4. AI-assisted output

OCR correction, summaries, extracted fields, and governance signals are operational aids. They are not legal advice or a substitute for reviewing the original agreement and obtaining qualified counsel.

5. Plans and limits

Free, Starter, and Team differ by processed pages, users, storage, and reprocessing credits. Usage is measured under the limits displayed in the product.

6. Subscription billing

Starter and Team are monthly subscriptions processed by Lemon Squeezy. Checkout shows the price, tax if applicable, renewal terms, and payment method. ContractVault does not store full card numbers.

7. Changes and cancellation

Plan changes and cancellation follow the product and provider terms shown at the time of the request. Additional capacity is not automatically transferred unless expressly stated.

8. Prohibited use

You may not upload unauthorized data, misuse another person's account or payment method, bypass limits, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, or reverse engineer the service except where law permits.

9. Availability

Features may change for maintenance, security, reliability, or legal reasons. Cloud, network, and third-party provider incidents may temporarily interrupt service.

10. Deletion

Authorized users may request contract or workspace deletion. Source files and related structured data are removed through the documented deletion process, subject to records that must be retained for payment, tax, security, or dispute obligations.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ContractVault is not responsible for errors in customer-provided data, interpretation of AI output, internal decisions, or unauthorized uploads. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
